Last updated: September 2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Soberski Ltd (“Soberski”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a retreat, you (“you”, “guest”, “participant”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the retreat price is required at the time of booking.
The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the retreat start date.
If booking within 60 days of the retreat, the full balance is payable immediately.
Payments are accepted via our secure online booking system.
2. Pricing
Prices are stated per person, based on either shared twin occupancy or single occupancy.
Prices include accommodation, in-resort catering, scheduled wellness sessions, workshops, and activities as detailed in the itinerary.
Prices do not include travel to/from Méribel, lift passes, ski equipment hire, insurance, or discretionary spending.
3. Cancellations by You
Cancellation must be made in writing.
The following charges apply:
More than 60 days before arrival: loss of deposit.
30–60 days before arrival: 50% of total booking fee.
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of total booking fee.
No refunds will be made for late arrival, early departure, or failure to attend.
4. Cancellations or Changes by Us
Soberski reserves the right to cancel or amend retreats due to insufficient bookings, force majeure events (including natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions), or other circumstances beyond our control.
If cancellation is necessary, you will be offered a transfer to another retreat or a full refund of monies paid, except where cancellation is due to force majeure (in which case credits may be issued at our discretion).
5. Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance (including winter sports cover and cancellation cover) is mandatory for all guests.
Proof of insurance may be requested before your retreat.
6. Guest Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically fit to participate in skiing and all retreat activities.
You must inform Soberski of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements before arrival.
Guests are expected to respect the retreat environment, chalet property, and fellow guests.
7. Alcohol-Free Environment
Soberski retreats are alcohol-free. Bringing or consuming alcohol on the retreat is strictly prohibited.
Violation of this policy may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
8. Important Disclaimer
Soberski is not an alcohol rehabilitation program, detox clinic, or medical facility.
Our retreats are designed as adventure holidays in an alcohol-free environment, combining skiing, wellness, and coaching.
We offer alcohol-free alternatives such as “Low&No” / 0% beers, wines, and spirits. If you are concerned that you may find any of these things triggering then we strongly recommend that you consult a healthcare professional before attending, and consider whether this trip is right for you.
Participation is not a substitute for professional treatment for addiction, dependency, or medical/mental health conditions.
If you are seeking medical or therapeutic support, we recommend you consult a qualified healthcare professional before booking.
9. Liability
Skiing and mountain activities carry inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge these risks.
Soberski is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage sustained during the retreat, except where caused by our proven negligence.
Soberski is not liable for any guest decisions regarding the consumption or intake of alcohol whilst out of the chalet. Though we will offer an alcohol-free environment at the chalet, it is at each guest’s own discretion to ensure they do not consume alcohol on this week in their own time and we accept no responsibility for this choice.
You are responsible for your own safety and equipment.
10. Media & Content
Soberski may photograph and film retreats for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such content, please notify us in writing before arrival.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
