A note from Ben…
Firstly, I would like to extend a HUGE personal thank you to you all for joining us on this special trip! With it being our very first, we are super excited that you took the leap and came to join us here in Meribel for the inaugural soberski week,
As one of the first few to embark on this alcohol-free alpine adventure, you are truly carving the way towards the future of ski trips as we know them.
If you need anything at all during your stay, then please do let me or one of the team know and we will endeavour to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for you.
We can’t wait for you to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer, and want you to come away from this trip feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready for the year ahead.
Enjoy the snow, and I can’t wait to get to know you all!

DAILY QUOTE & JOURNAL PROMPT
“You know you’re on the right path when it starts to disappear.”
Today’s thought:
Where are you waiting for certainty instead of taking the next step?
Daily Itinerary
Here you will find a Daily Itinerary for how you can expect the retreat to run.
Morning
Start the day with some Pre-Ski Stretching led by Naomi! You can sign up for a time slot the night before. Groups will be limited to 4 participants in each session, which last around 20 mins. Mats provided - just wear something comfy. Your skiing base layers would be fine for this to save your precious time getting ready, otherwise any activewear that you feel comfortable in.
Breakfast served between 07:30am till 09:00am.
Lifts open at 9am, with the main lift centre being La Chaudanne. You can catch the Ligne A Free Shuttle Bus to La Chaudanne from the stop just a few minutes walk from Chalet Matterhorn, which takes just a few minutes to get to the slopes They run every 20 minutes.
Either head straight to your lesson or out onto the slopes with the rest of the group! Abilities are mixed, and there is no formal guiding allowed outside of lessons, so please ski to your ability.
We have designed some suggested routes you could take each day, but these are not in any way compulsory purely optional - entirely at your own discretion based on your own confidence in your abilities and ski level. You can choose from the sections below based on Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Afternoon
Lifts close around 16:30pm, with your nearest return point being back to La Chaudanne, where you can catch the Ligne A Free Shuttle Bus back to Mussillon.
Logstics:
Bus Stop Location, Bus Timetable
Download the 3 Valleys App for LIVE TRACKING of the Buses and the full digital timetable on there too.
Resort Map
Download the 3 Valleys App for the Resort Guide, Slope Map, Weather Updates, Piste Webcams, and Bus Timetables.
This App is extremely useful as your “one-stop shop” of 3 Valleys info, so we definitely recommend using it!
ESCALATORS:
Quick access to the slopes via the ESCALATORS in the centre of town - MAP LINK
Escalators - (Quick access via Ski to Chaudanne Slopes)
You can watch this video for how to get back down to the ESCALATORS (centre of town). It could be more like a 10-15 minute walk in ski boots!
From SAULIRE MID STATION follow signs towards RHODOS.
Once you get all the way down to ROND POINT > you stay RIGHT and take the blue run COMMERCES (on the right), and then right again down COMMERCES.
This gets you to the escalator where you arrive in the centre.
The quickest way is still the LIGNE A BUS towards La Chaudanne for slopes access, or LIGNE A towards LES ALLUES for back to the chalet - however if you did want to walk or get the bus from centre instead then you can do.

Bespoke Ski Ideas
Below you’ll find three categories of suggested ski ideas, designed to help you shape your days on the mountain using our local knowledge of the resort.
These routes are purely optional and provided as inspiration only. They are not compulsory, and you are free to adapt, change or ignore them entirely depending on how you feel each day.
Please note: Ski guiding is regulated in France, and as such these ideas are not a guided service. You will not be accompanied by us while skiing, and all skiing is undertaken independently and at your own discretion.
We encourage all guests to ski within their own ability, take appropriate breaks, and book professional ski lessons where required. While we’re happy to share our experience of the area to enhance your enjoyment, responsibility for decisions made on the mountain remains with each individual.
By choosing how and where you ski, you accept that skiing carries inherent risks, and soberski accepts no responsibility for accidents, injuries or incidents that may occur on the slopes
As your ability and confidence progresses throughout the week, you may find you’d like to try out one of the other sections. For reference, in the Intermediate/Advanced section you may wish to keep to BLUES rather then REDS.
01 / Beginner
Green & easy blue terrain
You’re new to skiing, returning after time away, or building confidence.
Expect:
Green runs and gentle blues

Regular Stops
Focus on balance, control and enjoyment
